Professional Bio

Dr. Clay has over fifteen years of experience in mental health, specialising in clinical and organisational psychology. She completed her Master of Science and Doctorate in Psychology at Walden University, Minneapolis, Minnesota, and did her pre-doctoral and post-doctoral internships at public schools in Atlanta, Georgia. Her practice currently focuses on educational and organisational assessments and consultations in disability-related claims, psychoeducational evaluations, risk assessment, competence restoration, pre-operative clearance, pre-employment examinations, evaluations for behavioural issues and intellectual challenges, ADHD, and Autism.

Additionally, she provides executive coaching, solution-focused therapies (e.g., cognitive behavioural therapy and cognitive processing therapy), and outpatient psychotherapy for issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, and marital therapy. Dr. Clay is a passionate advocate for access to appropriate mental health care for at-risk individuals. Dr. Clay appreciates the complexity of human behaviour, the importance of context and culture in clinical practice, and the need for continuing education and professional development. Furthermore, she is dedicated to respecting diversity and individual differences in clients, using evidence-based practice, and upholding high standards of care for clients while maintaining the confidentiality of client information and advancing the knowledge in the field of psychology.

Cancellation Policy

If you do not attend your scheduled evaluation, assessment, therapy, or consultation appointment and have yet to notify our office at least 24 hours in advance. In that case, you will be charged the total cost of the session.

Security

Integrated Psychological Solutions do not guarantee the security or confidentiality of incoming emails from patients. Please consider the nature of the information you choose to disclose via email and the security of your outgoing mail server. Patients who choose to communicate via email do so at their own risk. Office staff and/or your doctor will make every attempt to respond to your email request or concern in less than 48 hours. However, please remember that office email is not checked during the evening or on weekends/holidays. Higher Potential for Learning is not responsible for email loss due to technical failures. Please remember that email may become part of your permanent patient record and may be saved to your chart. If you are experiencing a life-threatening psychiatric emergency, please call your local emergency service immediately. All non-emergent concerns should be addressed via the office phone or by email.

Insurance

Dr. Clay is currently not contracted with major insurance panels. Patients are required to pay the total amount before their visit. We can accept credit cards or cash for payment. Payments made by credit or debit card will incur a 3% service fee.
